Eigg Finds a New Home at Viewmark

Inspired by the remarkable story of the Isle of Eigg and its community, Eigg was the production that first took us to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2023. What began as a musical about a small Scottish island became the beginning of a much bigger creative journey, one that has since taken us back to Edinburgh year after year with new original work. Making Eigg available through Viewmark is also part of something larger we’re building. Over the coming months, we plan to begin moving more of the media surrounding our theatrical productions to the Viewmark production site, creating a dedicated publishing home for our shows. Performance videos, music, photography, production stories, and other material that has accumulated across years of developing and producing new musicals can live together rather than being scattered across different sites and platforms.

For us, Viewmark isn’t simply another place to archive old productions. The goal is to create a growing media library where these shows can continue to be discovered after their original runs have ended—and where audiences can follow the evolution of new work as it moves from an idea, to rehearsal, to the stage, and eventually to the screen. Eigg feels like an especially appropriate place to continue that transition. It was the show that started our Fringe story, and now it becomes part of the next chapter: bringing our theatrical work together at Viewmark and finding new ways to publish, preserve, and share the stories we’ve been fortunate enough to put onstage.
